Why do you need remote debugging? Doesn't STRDBG CLASS(...) work for you?

Subject: remote debugging

Our '400s still run JDK1.1.8, and I need to debug a Java program that
goes into an infinite loop. Can someone give some links on how to do
remote debugging from another machine? We are using NetBeans, which
can use both 1.1 and JPDA debugger, can I attach to a Java program
running on the '400 from my PC?
