I am actually testing Cocoon from the Apache Foundation.

It is an XML reporting tool, served by a servlet.

You use XML to describe your business data, and XSL to create
the report (html, pdf, wml, etc ...)

It is really impressing

Hi All,

        We have a java based inventory application. Now I'm looking for a
reporting
tool which can be integrated with the application. The reports to be
generated are normal reports like - sales report between two periods, all
inventory receipts reports etc. And also certain information is to be
printed on pre-printed stationary.

Can any one suggest good available reporting tools for the purpose?
