Hello!
I have another question about connection pooling using Websphere. I
have read that on the Iseries that Websphere leaves a pseudo lock on the
files it uses it the QSQSRVR jobs and that this is normal. (And, yes I am
closing my connection in my servlets) However, I have also noticed it seems
to be opening up a new data path for each unique sql statement. In other
words one QSQSRVR job might have the same file open 20 times. Is this
normal or do I have something set up wrong? I followed the examples in the
Websphere documentation.
