Problem in transferring control from a CL program to the JAVA Program

Hi,

I have written a Java program which calls a CL program  residing on the
AS/400. I am using JTopen 2.02  and IBM Tool box.   If an error occurs in
the CL program, the control is  not returning  to the  Java program. The
Java program will be hanging. Is there any way to get the control back to
the Java program even when an error occurs in the CL program?
