If you are using the Toolbox JDBC driver, check out
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/toolbox/faqports.htm. It
lists the ports used by each Toolbox service.

We trying to poke a hole in the back firewall to connect our AS/400 to
another web server. The web server in the DMZ will use JDBC to get data
off
the AS/400 and display it. However, I'm not sure what port JDBC uses to
connect to the AS/400... Since the port is not specified in the URL, I
assume it has a standard TCP/IP port and that the 400 uses that port.....

Or just this post serve to show that I know nothing about JDBC (which is
entirely possible... :-) )

thanks

dan
