Thanks for your answers!

I've created a new subsystem with different settings (MAXACT = *NOMAX) than
the one 
used for our specific application. I've submitted the RUNJVA command and it
works!

And the solution makes sense: RUNJVA creates a batch immediate job (doesn't
need a job queue)
called QJVACMDSRV that's running alongside the submitted job

We can finally show off with our 'free' mail tool...
