Mark,

When I get an error like that I can save the work, I don't know why it is not,
I would try the code format option when looking for miss matched items. To
format
the source, right click in the window. Also, if you are using 3.5+ you should
be able
to go to the source view by right clicking on the class. That will show the
whole
thing, which is useful.

OK, here we go again. I must be a masochist. I'm trying VAJAVA again. I've
just spent 2 hours editing code in a class. This class I copied from
another class with the Reorganize --> Copy option. The source class worked.
I compiled and ran it within VAJAVA. BTW My learning classes are just
mutations of the previous class adding new techniques. So back to my
quandary. I add a few methods to this class and tried to save it. I get an
error dialog that says: "An error occurred while saving ScreenTest07: An
error occurred while parsing source code due to expecting )." The only
response is OK. I, for the life of me cannot find an unbalanced parenthesis
anywhere in this class. There are no visible problems in the problem pane.
Shouldn't I at least get a clue where the problem is? This is a relatively
small class. What happens if there is a big one.

This is why I'm getting so frustrated with VAJAVA.

Mark
