Yes, I mean using the Distributed database Management support in which the
DDMF file will be created to access the data at remote system.

When you say "DDM Server", do you mean using AS/400 distributed
database
support via DRDA, or are you use the Toolbox Record Level Access
bean?

        Hi all,

Am on V4R4 and I want to use the DDM to access a physical file which
is on
        a
Different remote as400 server within our center. Can anyone help me
in
giving some information on how to setup this DDM setup/environment
for both
        the AS400's.
I started TCP/IP DDM server but no effect ..and how to confirm that
this
DDM server is up and running, which are the files I'll have to
check in
QSYSWRK subsystem. And is there anything I'll have to do before
starting
        DDM
        server.

Does V3R1 supports DDM server ??? I couldn't see the DDM server in
it.

        Thanks in advance
        Waiting for your reply

        Ravi
