Hi.

DSPFD ( Display File Description) as a CL command to an outfile.
This can be run from Java using a Stored procedure from a CL pgm...

PGM  &FILE &LIB

DCL    &FILE   *CHAR (10)
DCL    &LIB   *CHAR (10)

DSPFD  FILE(&LIB/&FILE)  OUTTYPE(*FILE) ....

............
