I know it sounds like a put off, but.... check the PTFs. I had a similar
problem and spent a lot of time trying to figure it out. One of my AS/400
guys applied all the PTFs and it started working again.

Subject: WebSphere 1.1 stopped working.

WebSphere 1.1 on a v4r4 box somehow quit by itself a few days ago. Whenever
I request a servlet, a blank html page is returned and no error is shown.
The source code for this blank page is like:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<META content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"
http-equiv=Content-Type></HEAD>
<BODY></BODY></HTML>

Where should I check?

TIA.
