You need to make the part number as part of the linking URL, e.g.
<A HREF="callthis.xxx?part=123456">123456</A>
where 123456 is the part number.

"part" then becomes retrievable information within "callthis.xxx" just like
form information.  Since I don't use this, I don't remember if this method
of passing parms in a URL is like a "GET" form or a "POST" form, but it's
one or the other.
