(From my friends in print land ...)

Try setting the Degree of Page Rotation (ATTR_PAGRTT) to *COR. If you like
the resulting output then the page size setting is still not correct.
Make sure you are setting the real page size, probably 8 1/2 by 11.

Subject: Printing on AS400 using AS400 Tool box for Java

Hi all,

I am using WAS3.02 AE on AS400 and trying to print reports/letters from my
EJB component on to AS400. I using AS400 Toolbox for Java to achieve this.

I am creating a spool file on AS400 using SCS3812Writer class and i am
using
default network printer file (QPNPSPRTF in QSYS lib) for printing. The
trouble is even if i have specified Page Width for my printer file as 198
the line that gets printed contains 84 characters only. The data after this
gets truncated.

I have tried setting the Printer File Attributes (like page length, page
width, measure method) from my java program.........but it didn't work.

then i tried setting all these properties on to my printer file on
AS400....still it did work.

I am not able to understand why this is happening. When i print a spool
file
that's created by an RPG program or Job Log Dump spool file.......it gets
printed fine.

Any ideas what's causing this problem.........

Thanks
Niranjan
