A little help with VAJ

I know this is not directly related to Java/400 But
VisualAge is our primary development environment for
all our java 400 code so I thought I would give it a
shot. In the last two weeks our team repository has
become corrupted. Due to problems with the backup,
etc. this has  cost us about two weeks of lost work in
total. The repository is nearing 300 meg so this may
be part of the problem. 

Just as a postscript this is not corruption of the
repository physically but corruption of the repository
formate.

Any help would be appreciated. We would like to avoid
further corruption if possabile.
