Kalyan:

I haven't read any books specific to Java/400 but I am currently reading an
excellent text by Deitel & Deitel, "Java How to Program." If you are just
beginning in Java, I think this is the perfect book to begin with. I'm just
getting started with this book and it is great but I've had good experiences
with other Deitel & Deitel texts such as "C++ How to Program." The authors
are real teachers (they own and operate a corporate training center and have
published several programming text books which are used in universities
around the world) which I think shows in the style and detail of their
writings.
