Assuming you are talking about a JDBC driver for MS SQL Server... any pure
JDBC driver should be able to be put onto the 400 and run from there to
access SQL Server. We did a test like this with an Oracle JDBC driver once
(run to an Oracle database and pumped the data out to the 400 database) and
it was pretty straight forward. Java is, afterall, java... and you can run
it on just about an JVM you want.

But no JDBC driver is specifically shipped with the system to do this sort
of work.

Subject: Java/400 + MSSQL driver

Do we have MSSQL dirver on AS400? I would like to read MSSQL table. If we
do not have the driver, is there an alternative way to access MSSQL?

Thanks.
