Ravi,

As a helpful hint.  You will never be able to get a servlet to work if you
use port 9090.  The servlet will only work for the port specified for you
http server.  By default this is 80.  Ports like 2001 and 9090 are special
administation ports.

Also as another point you can't just type the command STRTCPSVR *HTTP if you
have created a different server instance for Websphere.  You must specifiy
the that instance.  If under the QHTTPSVR subsystem you see DEFAULT as the
instance then it will be using the CONFIG file.  Once the CONFIG's instance
is started then no other instances can be used (besides the *ADMIN).  You
want to use the
command:
STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(RAVI'SINSTANCE)
Then add:
STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP) HTTPSVR(*ADMIN) to beable to access the
administration page.
