I don't know enough about the '400 to answer that... where should I
start looking?  I can understand a timeout in our factory, which is
connected via 56K leased line, but we saw it a lot more when we ran 
it here on the LAN during warehouse inventory.  Could ADDPFM time out
if more than one person was trying to do it at once?

It's definitely not as though the '400 was completely disconnecting
from the remote PC, as I can just put up a dialog box asking if the
operator wants to retry, and that works OK (i.e. without going all the
way back to AS400.connectService).

It's not the biggest deal in the world, I'm just curious about what
it means.  Everything else in the program (RMI, JDBC, etc.) works 
really great with the '400 :)
