Title: Exception: Cursor State Not Valid
Are you using executeQuery() to do the insert? If so, try executeUpdate() instead. I think this error is experienced when executeQuery() is used for a statement which does not returns a result set (cursor).

Subject: Exception: Cursor State Not Valid

Hi,
We have a V4R4 m/c. I am using AS/400 toolbox for executing queries. Whenever I insert a record into the database, I get an exception Cursor State Not Valid. It would have performed the insert operation properly. Can you please advise how to overcome this exception

Thanks and Regards
Gururaj
