Probably, I have the old jdb400.jar. The Jdb400SequentialFile does not
have setField() method. Is jdb400.jar a sharedware?
---------

No, it's not shareware. It's FREEWARE! The classes and the source are
absolutely free. JDB/400 is now part of a bigger package called PBD, and is
currently at release PBD1.2P. You can download it from my website:

http://www.zappie.net/java/techniques/pbd.htm

PBD1.2P includes all the JDB/400 classes, which now support keyed and sequential
input AND output. It also includes JBUI, which allows you to create forms that
work just like AS/400 screens, JAO/400, which are application frameworks that
allow you to quickly put together simple applications, and JDQM/400, which
supports full client/server development. It comes with example programs,
including a library to install on your AS/400 that shows you how to take an
existing AS/400 program and turn it into client/server.

PBD1.3P is in development, and it will support selected OS/400 APIs,
parent/child relationships and more sophisticated applications.

PBD2.0P will be out in about six weeks if all goes well, and will include
JavaBeans for all the PBD classes.
