  • Subject: Compiling Java ToolBox for as400 at optimization level 40

Hi all.

Has anyone already tried to compile the java toolbox (jt400.jar) with the
optimization level = 40 ?

We tried this, but had a lot of problems.

We have Corba Servers (visibroker for java) running on the as400. These
servers uses the java tool box
to access the database.

If we compile the toolbox (optimize(40)) we have an unknow corba error at
the client side. If we compile the
toolbox with optimise(30). Everything works fine.

We think that this problem occurs because visibroker for java uses dynamic
method invocation, and this is not
supported at level 40.

Any other idea?
