Sashi--

What functionality do you need that the Java Toolbox includes yet The OLE DB
provider doesn't?

The most frustrating thing I've experienced is the lack of the ability to
call programs that pass structures as paramters with OLE DB (which precludes
directly calling most APIs). The Java Toolbox handles this just fine.

As for other OLE DB data providers, MS offers one that works across TCP/IP
that doesn't require SNA Server. But get this: It only comes packaged with
SNA Server! What are they thinking!? I'm not familiar with other OLE DB
providers for the AS/400. Anyone else?
