If you use the toolbox just for the JDBC drivers, then your Java code should
work with ANY JDBC data source.
Also, I have read that Java supports ADO.-- whihc layers OLE DB, so that
might not be an MS-only solution any more.

If you use other parts of the Toolbox, then you are using AS/400 specific
funcitonality so it is a moot point...
