Well, you're probably right about the lack of activity.

Yes, applications on the AS/400.  Actually, I have not looked at the direct file
access stuff yet.  I have used the call interface, the user space interface and 
the
data queue interface.  Call was to API to deposit into the user space.  If you 
have
time, I have a yuck on what IBM calls "integrated".
