Hi,

FYI OrbixWeb does run on V4R2 with no modifications. We ftp'd the jar files
for Orbix and for our server app to the IFS and it ran.

Our stumbling blocks were:
1.) Make sure you run orbixdj with the same parameters that are in
orbixdj.bat on the PC.
2.) For performance, you must compile both the orbix jar's and the jar's
for your application. There's a limit on the file size so you may need to
break them up.
3.) You can use ftp instead of the (slow) client access neighborhood thing.
Just 'cd /' first to change into IFS mode.
4.) We're having a problem with the native JDBC driver (won't let us open
more than one connection) but I think we're behind on PTFs so that may be
the problem.

Hope that helps someone.

-Rob
