we plan to spend a ton on education for our folks in the next year, not

none of the books you listed were IBM, so I think you're safe.  

I usually enjoy ibm education stuff, but it seems like they spend too
much time trying to sell you on their products, rather than how to use
them.
If I'm there, I'm already sold.  don't tell me why, or what, just how!

(sorry, I had to vent.  I just spent the last 6 days sitting in two
different "tech" conferences that seemed geared more towards marketing
types)
