I like that whole paragraph even better:

They don’t know anything about business, but they sure understand the computer systems, they sure understand complex programming paradigms. On the other hand, one of the benefits of the System i architecture is its hidden technology, which means that the business-system programmers on the platform don’t necessarily have to be technically aware. They can focus on solving business problems.


That last sentence explains why I have always loved the IBM midrange.
