We have finally finished upgrading all of our DPARs to 8.5.3 FP3, it seems
stable enough,
occasional HTTP hang under heavy load is the only noticeable issue so far.

We always pilot every service pack or release within the IT Dept. I have
most of our IT Dept on one DPAR so that makes it a bit easier.

I did attend the Connect 2013 Conference. IBM is packing allot of Social
and a whole new client theme
with Notes 9, the more they pack in the more bugs and issues arise.

I would suggest a small pilot before you roll out all of the features in
Notes 9.
