That works, but I think you need to:

1) warn the user to only use the restored copy of the database as a source to copy out of

AND

2) give the user a strict "you've got 24 hours to get what you need before we blow the restored copy away" warning.

Otherwise the user will invariably find a way to make an even bigger mess than the current one.

We have a user that wants their sent folder from May of this year.
We have restored the userid.nsf file before but always when the user was a

past employee.
This user is still employed here.
The question is: If we restore the file onto the server will this
replicate down to the client and cause loss of current e-mail?
Will it replicate just what is not there?
Is it a better practice to restore the userid.nsf file to userid2.nsf and
use the Administrator client to forward them to the user?
Any help will be appreciated.
