Are you able to create a local replica of the database on your machine? If
so, can you then successfully run the fixup, updall, compact locally?
Possibly there's just corruption that a new replica can fix.

No, we only have 1 domino server and there is no archive for this mail
file, this user is only using DWA so there would not be a local replica.
We are on Release 7.0.2 on OS400 V5R4M0. Thanks Bill

Re: Mail file error

Is there a replica on a cluster mate or even a local replica?
Sometimes I have had to delete the one replica and create from one
elsewhere.

What version of Domino?

tried to run Fixup -f and Compact -c -i but no luck I still get this
error. This is the second time this mail file has gotten this error
in a
weeks time. The last time I restored it from tape, but I need to
find out
what is causing it and how to fix it, I thought this was a one time
thing
but it is not. Thanks for any help. Bill
