Stability of 7.0.2 fp2 vs 7.0.3 on VMware

Has anyone had any experience of running a Sametime or Quickr server on
VMware. Going to a recent IBM seminar I found that they will now provide
support "if" you can verify a problem still occurs outside of VMware.
We're looking at setting up some external Sametime and Quickr servers and
trying to minimize the license cost by minimizing the number of CPUs
required. Appreciate any input - particularly before 2:30 PM today - when
we start our initial exploratory meeting. TIA
