We have used a tool for years called Percussion Notrix. Has a good
mapping tool and is very simple to use.

Pulling iSeries data into Notes

What is the suggested way to pull iSeries data (V5R4) into a Notes R7
application? I can't really define the application because I don't have
one, but for example, suppose I wanted to do a simple file maintenance and
inquiry type application in notes, just to learn the basics. What method
of connectivity to DB2 would be suggested?

I've heard of LEI, DECS & Notessql, but am not familiar with any of these
products. I've also heard that Domino 8 is supposed to have native DB2
support too, but that is out on the horizon.

Cost (as always) is an issue, so existing (non-vendor) solutions would be
desirable.

30,000 foot view is sufficient. I'm just looking for suggestions as to
where to begin the investigation.

Thanks!

Regards, Jerry
