Gerald, I am running 7.0 on our 270 DSD as a cluster server.

I am uncertain as to the support that IBM will offer for it. They never 
specifically ask me what system I'm running it on, so I'm not sure and I 
guess it would just depend on if you're asked what system you're using. 

I can tell you that it does run on the 270, though. Personally, I think 
they're wanting to move people to newer models (hence the requirement to 
run V5R3).
