I guess I need to inquire about our Domino upgrade kit, we haven't received
one for quite some time. Guess I should just get on the Passport site and
download 6.5.4.

I've upgraded all of my servers to 6.5.4 last week and so far no new
issues, other than some compatibility concerns during the migration that
were all allayed.

This match your problem?

The Domino Web Access mail router incorrectly resolves internet addresses
if the Person entry does not contain the MailDomain field and the name is
the same as the local part of the Internet address.

Setting up the following users reproduces the issue:

Alison Jones is in DomainOne address book with username AJONES
Amy Jones is in DomainTwo address book with the same username AJONES
When using iNotes to send mail to AJONES@xxxxxxxxxxxxx, the address is
converted to AMY JONES/DOMAINTWO and delivered to the wrong

Solution:
This issue was reported to Lotus software Quality Engineering and was
addressed in Domino Web Access 6.5.2 and 6.0.4.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.5.2 & 6.0.4 MR fix list
(available at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/):

Product Area: Lotus Domino Web Access Technical Area: Mail
SPR# JCIK5XJTZE - Fixed a problem where the iNotes mail router incorrectly
resolved internet addresses if the person entry did not contain the
MailDomain field and the name was the same as the local part of the
internet address.

This issue occurred only with Domino Web Access addressing and did not
occur in the Notes Client or WebMail. Domino Web Access queried only the
local part of the address and not the fullname string.

Regards,
Eric

What is happening is when a user puts in the full email address in the TO:
field while in iNotes (cmiller@xxxxxxxxxxxxx) if there is a similar name
in
the additional address book it goes to that one (curt miller email address
= cmiller@xxxxxxxxxxxx) which is not a part of our NAB, same is true when
the address is cmiller@xxxxxxxxx etc always resolves to curt miller. does
anyone know what's going on here? It works fine in our notes clients. we
are on Domino 6.5.1 running on OS400 V5R2 clustered environment.
