I skipped over V5R2, but I don't recall any auto time change mechanism in
V5R1. Out of all the posts, I'm still not sure how to make the i5 OS not
change the time automatically!
I am well aware of how bad Domino get's screwed up. I was going to try the
new time-change feature in OpsNav, but i5 OS beat me too it and changed
the time. Not a blip in the logs either.
I don't think NNTP will change the time enough for a Daylight savings time
change, but it hasn't been working for me anyway. I'll check the logs out
later, though.

That's been the case prior to V5R3, hasn't it? I'm still on V5R2 and I
thought we ran into it on V5R1. Anyway, since I don't have Domino running

24/7, my "solution" was to create a little CL app that shuts down Domino
prior to the automatic time change and restarts it afterward. I made one
for the spring change and one for the fall change.

Please respond to
Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 <domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

Anyone else have V5R3 automatically change time for daylight savings and
throw their Domino servers for a loop? I learned a long time ago not to
change the time (by much) while Domino was running. Sunday I log on to set

the time and discover that OS/400 must have set itself, and my Domino was
dragging, bogging down the whole iSeries.
Does anyone know where this is controlled?
