External storage for iSeries Domino

My director is looking at a possible external storage solution (NetApp) to 
either put archived Domino data or even all Domino data onto. NetApp works 
with Lotus and this is a supported environment. I'm just wondering if we 
will see any improvements as far as performance.

We have a 270-2454 with 18 35GB 15kRPM disk drives (2 parity sets of 9 
drives each).

IBM Lurkers - do you have any numbers I could look at from any tests done 
within IBM? This would be a tremendous asset.
