Using ENDDOMSVR gives you two options - controlled or immediate. If you 
end it controlled (default) it will end the jobs gracefully. If you end it 
immediate that is the same as issuing and ENDSBS *IMMED. Further, with the 
ENDDOMSVR command, ending it controlled is the same as typing QUIT at the 
console and ending it immediate is the same as typing EXIT at the console.

You're doing the right thing by using the ENDDOMSVR command first.
