Running R6.0.2CF1 on V5R2 AS/400. Prior to upgrading to R6 from R5.0.12
last January I did not encounter this problem. Creating new iNotes5 and
iNotes6 clients I do not see this problem. I created a test account and
after name change opened the iNotes account and saw a "notification of
name change" which I could accept and save.
On previously existing iNotes5 clients, when I rename an account, the
Adminp process makes changes to the database ACL, database name, and the
"This mail file belongs to ..." in Tools -> Preferences but the client
does not see a notification of name change and 21 days later the Domino
Directory person documents reverts back to the old name and locks out the
client. I have gone into a recently changed iNotes5 client, by using
their backup id, to accept the name change for them but I am not being
challenged for the name change.
I cannot upgrade them to iNotes6 clients at this time until we resolve a
3rd-party product conflict with iNotes6. Anyone else experience this
problem and have comments?
