We're working on a Corporate Welcome Page being pushed through R6
Policies. Using "Microsoft Internet Explorer," as the desired browser in
the Location document, does not display the HTML page properly (known fact
as to how Notes Framesets work with web pages created in another product).

Using "Notes with Internet Explorer" set in the Location document the HTML
page displays as desired BUT clients' Desktop shortcuts to web pages and
web apps now open, and some try to open and fail or hangup particularily
with email links, inside Notes (and will open Notes client first if it is
shutdown).

In Windows Explorer the file association set for HTML is to launch
Internet Explorer. Called IBM support and they said there should be "no"
file association configuration in Notes that would cause this problem -
that it is an Operating System problem. Cannot find in Registry or other
program locations where this could be set. ANYBODY ELSE SEEN THIS.
APPRECIATE ANY COMMENTS ASAP. THANKS.
