Domino Performance Problem -- DOMINO400

 We have a 270 model (i series, V5R1) running domino R5. Roughly 200 users
 work on it. We have a performance problem. The thing is, certain databases
 which should take 5 to 6 seconds to open are taking more than 30 seconds
 to open. What & where could be the problem. Suggestions please.
