We just moved several of our Domino servers from a dedicated iSeries to one
running our erp, etc. In that process we went from an iSeries which only
worked for Domino mail to one which supports Domino mail along with AS/400
mail (SNDDST, SNDEMAIL, QtmmSendMail, etc). While it was a rough road
(just this week) we got it working. Thank God for our support contract
with IBM directly with the Domino rider. I could go on and on about that.

Check the following:

CFGTCP
1. Work with TCP/IP interfaces
192.168.1.1 should be there
F11=Display interface status
and it should be active

CFGTCP
10. Work with TCP/IP host table entries
We have the following entry for our smtp partition. dekko-1 is our NT
domain. DEKKO.COM is our email domain.
10.10.1.141      INTERNOTES
                 INTERNOTES.dekko-1
                 INTERNOTES.DEKKO.COM
                 DEKKO.COM

WRKDOMSVR
13=Edit NOTES.INI
Somewhere there should be
TCPIP_TcpIpAddress=0,192.168.1.1:1352
Also, SMTP should be in your ServerTasks line

                    domino400

I am new to Domino and Notes and need some help. We are using products
on our AS400 that email reports to users daily ie. RJSSOFT product
called "Email Report Server" and Broderick Data Systems product
"SpoolOrganizer/400'. My company just purchased and I installed Domino
5.0.8 and put on patch 5.0.8.01 for our AS400. I setup domino to use a
different IP address than the mail IP address of the AS400 (see below).
I created another interface on the same ethernet adapter using a
different IP Address. When I started up the Domino Server it would not
start SMTP,LDAP or POP saying that it could not allocate the ports. I
would like the SMTP,LDAP and POP of the Domino Server and all of its
services to use IP Address 192.168.1.1 .I would like all other products
that currently use the native version of SMTP,DIRSRV and POP on our
AS400 to continue to do so (until I get Domino and Notes up and running)
to use those services on ip 192.168.1.254. We are going to move to notes
eventually but I need to get trained and understand it. I need to keep
things as they are and learn Domino and Notes so that is why I am trying
to keep things seperate to not interfere with production while I am
playing and learning notes. All help is greatly appreciated.

192.168.1.254 = Current Ethernet IP Interface Address
192.168.1.1 = New Interface that I added for Domino and Notes
