Is this the notes "C API"? If so, it is meant to be used with ILE/C.
I don't know if you can get RPG to use them or not. I have use the C
API (not on the /400, but it is the same) and I will say that it was
not fun. But, I did succeed. Let me know and I might be able to help.

Subject: ##EMailNumber 01-WNY-3417152 RNHLIB - RPG Notes HiTest APIs
Library for Lotus Domino

Hello Everyone,

I posted this message in the Midrange-L and rpg400 groups before
without
any replies.
Hopefully someone here at the domino400 group can answer...

RPG APIs are not part of the Lotus Domino for the AS/400 product.
However there is a collection of APIs in a library called RNHLIB and I
believe it was
downladable from IBM.
Currently we are running at V4R4 and pretty soon at V5R1 in the AS/400
and
at R5 in Lotus Domino

I want to ask the group if anyone has had the opportunity to use these
APIs

My intent will be to Create a Lotus Domino Database, Create a Document
in
that Database,
Populate that Document with references to an AS/400 Master File (Create
Items in that Document
based on Inserts/Updates/Deletes in the AS/400 Master File).

I will like to use the Create Item, Find and Modify Item and the Remove
Item APIs found in
this RNHLIB

Thanks for your responses
