Hey list, does anyone know if SBMDOMCMD calls an API previously available
under earlier releases?

No, DBCACHE FLUSH does not affect valid open connections.  But this may be
deemed a technical question and might get into a debate as to the
definition of a valid open connection.  Perhaps you need to clarify your
concern.

Is it user noticable?  No, I don't think so.  But users don't run restores,
O/S copies, and the like.

I missed that originally, because it doesn't exist on V4R3 (which what I'm
doing my development on).

I'm wondering what the implications of executing the command would be.  How
does it effect valid open connections?  Will the connections remain intact
(which is what I would assume with a simple cache flush).
