We have a Domino database that contains a rich text field. We would like
to generate a print from this database as follows:

1. Use some of the other fields in the form as headings for the report
2. Print Page x of y on each page (either in the heading or as a footer)
3. Print the rich text field on the report

The rich text field could span multiple pages and that appears to be one of
the rubs. We want the report headings to appear on each page of the
report.

I attempted to use the Notes SQL ODBC Driver and Visual Basic to dump the
information from the form into a spreadsheet or a document using OLE and
let those applications generate the print.

That was only marginally successful. The problems were:
1. Even though the Notes SQL driver says it will support Rich Text Fields
of 15,360, I could only get it to support 8,100.
2. I do not think 15,360 will necessarily be enough (unless this is the
Domino limit for a rich text field).
3. The information in the Notes database Rich Text field used Bold, etc.
This did not come through to the VB application.

My question(s) are this/these:
1. Does anyone know of a way to do what we are attempting?
2. Would Lotus Script interface with MS Word in the same basic manner as VB
and would that accomplish my task?

Thanks in advance.
