Printing on AS/400

I wrote an agent to print as when there is any new email arrived.
Code

Open "LPT1" For Output As f%

I noticed the agent was ran on AS/400 instaead of local machine (windows NT)
and the stream file, LPT1 was generated at IFS/400.
Try to replace the LPT1 with printer device,
'/QSYS.LIB/QGPL.LIB/HP4040.DEVD' and no output was geenrated.
and the agent was tested working under the domino NT server.

Question:
Anyone has any ideas how to automate printing on AS/400???
How to make an agent run locally, instead of AS/400 server.
