  • Subject: What is the NOTESPARTITION on a named subsystem?
  • From: Rob Berendt <rob@xxxxxxxxx>

I am running Domino 4.6.6b.
I've read the notes document at:
http://www.support.lotus.com/sims2.nsf/c7835bf039c01dc285256688006fae9b/f419b8ddbed95e0e85256649005f0b0d?OpenDocument
        search for compact
It's pretty good. My question is, now that we can name our own subsystems how
do we figure out the value for NOTESPARTITION?
For example I have the following in my DOMINO_SERVERS file:
L A S T _ P A R T I T I O N = 0 3
S E R V E R = G D S H E L P
D I R E C T O R Y = / G D S H E L P / n o t e s / d a t a
S B S D = D O M I N O 0 1
S E R V E R = N O T E S 0 1
D I R E C T O R Y = / n o t e s 0 1 / n o t e s / d a t a
S B S D = D O M I N O 0 2
S E R V E R = G D D A T A
D I R E C T O R Y = / g d d a t a / n o t e s / d a t a
S B S D = D O M I N O 0 8
S E R V E R = Q U A L I T Y
D I R E C T O R Y = / Q U A L I T Y / N O T E S / D A T A
S B S D = D O M I N O 0 9
S E R V E R = L E I S E R V E
D I R E C T O R Y = / L E I S E R V E / N O T E S / D A T A
S B S D = D O M I N O 1 0
S E R V E R = G D S S A L E S
D I R E C T O R Y = / G D S S A L E S / n o t e s / d a t a
S B S D = G D S S A L E S

On my WRKDOMSVR screen I have:
Domino Domino
Server Subsystem Status
GDSHELP DOMINO01 *STARTED
NOTES01 DOMINO02 *STARTED
GDDATA DOMINO08 *STARTED
QUALITY DOMINO09 *STARTED
LEISERVE DOMINO10 *STARTED
GDSSALES GDSSALES *STARTED

So what is the NOTESPARTITION for GDSSALES?
