This position is no different than any republican presidential
candidate in the last 30 years. They signed that because they want to
win the GOP nomination and because it is essentially an pro-life
statement of support.
So, again I say: It is as much a lie to say "Republicans want to ban
contraception" as it is a lie to say "Democrats want to be able to
abort new born children".

This includes sanctity of life from the moment of conception. They may
not have loaned their voices to the state bill specifically, but they
all support the concept.

Please make the connection that national republicans are pushing these

Of course they are now that they realize the shitstorm they've rained
upon themselves. What do you think the motive behind these personhood
amendments is? It's about abortion, and it's about contraception. It
sure as hell isn't to allow the parents to declare a fetal dependant
for a tax deduction. It certainly isn't to extend any sort of
pre-natal government benefits. On it's FAQs regarding the topic of
contraception PersonhoodFL does nothing to clarify, it just repeats
the ambiguous language from the amendment.

It's not as if the writers of the amendment go out of their way to

hormonal birth control.
when asked, they're going out of their way to say they are not going
after contraception.
