How do you measure "standard of living"? How do you define poor, average,
and above average?

class unless you have a "high" class and a "low" class.

Why is it important to self-divide by income bracket this way? Is
standard of living only worthwhile if measured by our ability to
consume raw materials faster than our neighbour?
