I disown all hateful and violent rhetoric from both parties. I have no problem with that. Where do I sign?
Now why don't you stop ferociously defending it? Is it because your party is looking really bad right now and so the only option is to double down and defend them even though there is no logical reason for wanting to continue the hateful and violent rhetoric?
Btw, even Palin took down her crosshairs map. I guess she doesn't have the backbone to stand by her words.

As I demonstrated, your batshit crazy political party spews hateful
rhetoric too.
Why don't you disown the democrat party for the same reasons?
because you're a hypocrite.

Look, if you want to be a member of the batshit crazy political party and spew hateful rhetoric, by all means, go for it. Nobody is going to trample on your first American rights and stop you. Certainly not on this list anyway--for every post calling for toning it down, you have 10 responses.
Maybe it is time for you to put away the keyboard and take a breather. The hateful rhetoric and violent imagery contributes nothing meaningful and productive to politics. Both sides should use this tragedy as a lesson to bring it down a notch.

I can't laugh when people argue that only one side is guilty of

what freedom of speech really means to them - free speech for me, but
not for thee.
I don't find it the least bit humorous.

I just have to laugh when people argue against having meaningful and peaceful political debate. It really highlights who the vitriol is important to.

No it's NOT been used "used mostly by conservatives and republicans".
Janet Napolitano's Homeland Security --of the Obama administration-- has
painted a "suspicion of terrorist" label on:
returning veterans,
people who talk about the Constitution too much,
Ron Paul supporters,
libertarians,
pro-lifers,
independent militia members,
Second-Amendment defenders,
opponents of the United Nations...
And you should see the vitriol I have seen especially reserved for
creationists, pro-lifers, marriage defenders, and so on, one judge even
accusing the overwhelming majority of Colorado voters bigots motivated
by an "animus against" homosexuals. HE is the arrogant bigot.
Pro-lifers in California had targets zeroing in on the residences after
(even before) Prop 8 was passed, and if you had a less selective memory
you would remember the comments that had Mr. W. in much worse than
crosshairs...
