This is obviously over the top, an administrator trying to remove all
possible threats against the students he's responsible for, common sense be
damned. It's ridiculous. This is on a level with that instance where the
girl was suspended for bringing aspirin to school. Why on earth do you
think I would be in favor of such a thing?
On the discipline front, what do you suggest? Floggings? The schools do
what they are allowed to do by way of discipline, trust me.
It seems to me that you and that jerk from TX who apparently started this
thread haven't set foot in a public school in a long, long time. Don't
write about things you have no clue about. It's a waste of everyone's time.
