She elected to stay closer to home. She didn't bother with Middlebury. When
she visited Bennington, she got a full offer, but she thought the people
there were a little too full of themselves. She said it reminded her a
little of a turkey farm during a rain shower.
She chose Carleton College in Minnesota.
